HYDE – The Clearfield American Legion Post 6 baseball team’s Jefferson County League home game with Punxsutawney Monday evening was postponed and not rescheduled.
The Chiefs (4-7) will try to improve their 4-3 league record Wednesday when Reynoldsville visits the Bison Sports Complex for a 6 p.m. start.
As one of the host teams for the Pennsylvania Wood Bat Championships 19-and-Under Division, Clearfield will play four games at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field this weekend.
The Chiefs will take on Edinboro Albion Post 957 at 10 a.m. and the Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) Knights at 5:30 p.m. Friday and play Troy at 10 and Brushtown at 5:30 Saturday.
Additional tourney games also are booked for 12:30 and 3 both days.
