Fugitive of the Week: Kimberly Rihel

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of June 13, 2011. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Kimberly Rihel, age 34, of Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Shaw stated that Rihel is wanted for failure to appear at Pre-Trial Conferences on June 9, 2011.

On Nov. 17, 2010, Officer J. Michael Morris of the Lawrence Township Police Department, filed a criminal complaint charging Rihel with: 1) criminal conspiracy, F2, 2 counts; 2) possession of controlled substance contraband by inmate prohibited, F2; 3) possession of a controlled substance, M, 2 counts.

An affidavit of probable cause filed by Morris states that in August 2010, officers received a report that an inmate at the Clearfield County Jail was in possession of controlled substances. Upon investigation it was found that Rihel had conspired to have controlled substances sent to her while incarcerated in the jail, and that controlled substances had been sent to Rihel. Officers recovered the controlled substances from Rihel.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 24, 2010, at which time all charges were held for court. On June 9, 2011, Rihel failed to appear for pre-trial conferences and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Height: 5 feet, 6 inches

Eyes: Hazel

Hair: Brown
