- A motorist was assisted after they locked their keys in their vehicle.
- Police checked the welfare of a female who lives along South Fifth Street. She had been arrested and transported to the Clearfield County Jail earlier in the day.
- An incident of harassment was handled along South Third Street.
- A traffic hazard was handled along Bridge Street.
- A hit-and-run accident that occurred down town is currently being investigated.
- Police checked the welfare of kids who were jumping into the river off the dam area along River Road. They were advised of the complaint and the possibility of severe injury. They agreed to cease jumping.
- A male was arrested for an alleged protection from abuse violation. He was taken into custody and transported to the magistrate’s office for arraignment.
- Police were called to a theft on Arnold Avenue.
- Police provided advice about a child custody issue.
- Police assisted mental health services with a patient who was threatening to harm herself. Officers were able to locate the female and take her into custody. Police were assisted by Clearfield County Emergency Medical Services.
- A report was received about a theft of medication.
- Police were called to a disturbance in the eastern end of town.
- Police were called to the area of Bridge Street for a reckless driving complaint. Officers located the suspect vehicle and found the female to be driving while under suspension. Another citation will be issued for careless driving.
- Police were called to CVS Pharmacy for a minor accident.
- A traffic safety checkpoint was conducted, and 120 vehicles were contacted during the same. Police handled more than 15 violations. Additional safety checkpoints will be conducted in the upcoming months.
- Police assisted the state police with an arraignment.
- Police responded to a business along North Second Street for a wanted person. The person was found to have a different date of birth and wasn’t the one wanted by police.
- An incident of trespass was handled along Spruce Street. The male left prior to police arriving at the scene but was later located. Charges are currently pending.
- Police assisted with a wanted male at the Clearfield Hospital. The male was detained until being turned over to probation.
- Police responded to Daisy Street for a dispute among neighbors regarding property lines. They were advised that it was a civil issue.
- Police were called to the intersection of East Market Street and South Front Street for a reportable accident.
- Police responded to the 500 block of West First Street for a noise/fireworks complaint. The responsible party was spoken to and advised to keep the noise down.
- Police were dispatched to the YMCA for an automatic fire alarm. The building was checked and found to be OK. The alarm was most likely triggered from the storms in the area.
