CLEARFIELD — The Clearfield Chiefs were supposed to kick off the 2011 season with a game at the Bison Sports Complex on Sunday evening.
The heavy rains on Saturday night and Sunday have postponed the first game to Saturday May 21 when the Chiefs host Fox Township in a non-league game at 1:00 p.m.
Clearfield will once again be managed by Sid Lansberry and will compete in the Jefferson/Clearfield American Legion League.
