BROCKWAY — After taking almost a week off from team competition due to the District 9 singles championships on Monday, the Clearfield Area boy’s tennis team returned to action on Wednesday when they faced off against the Brockway Rovers.
Clearfield’s singles players managed three wins in five matches, but the doubles teams were swept to set the final score at 6-3 Brockway.
Picking up wins for the Bisons were Jordan McAllister, Cory Maines, and Ryan Butler.
The Bisons (1-13) close out their regular season on Thursday when they travel to Lock Haven to face Mountain League foe Central Mountain.

4. Kunal Patel (Clfd) lost to Tyler Holben (B) in three sets 6-3, 3-6, 6-8.
5. Ryan Butler (Clfd) beat Jesse Hoover (B) in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
Doubles Results:
1. Cory Maines and Jordan McAllister (Clfd) lost to Fabio Fortunato and Joey Britton (B) 5-8.
2. Vince Owens and Ben Panebianco (Clfd) lost to Jesse Powers and Alec Bouch (B) 4-8.
3. Jonathan Bumbarger and Garrett Timko (Clfd) lost to Jake Parrin and Jordan Olivio (B) 0-8.
