CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Bank & Trust Company President William E. Wood presented a $5,000 contribution to the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation (CRC). Receiving the contribution is Kellie Truman, Main Street manager.

Clearfield Bank & Trust Company is a founding contributor to the CRC, as they have pledged a total of $25,000 over five years. For a community applying to be accepted into the Main Street Program, the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) requires a local match of contributions to fund the first five years. After the first five years, it is then up to the community to fully self-sustain the Main Street Program fully by local grants and contributions.

According to Truman, “The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation is gracious for Clearfield Bank & Trust Company’s contribution. Their investment in our program has not only shown support and belief of the betterment of Clearfield, but has enabled the CRC to initiate programs and events that have been new to our area.”

Truman continues, “Clearfield Bank & Trust Company has also shown representation and support through our Board of Directors, as Mr. Bill Wood became our newest addition this past January. We are excited to gain more knowledge, experience, and passion for Clearfield to the Board of Directors as the CRC has an exciting future ahead.”

Wood said, “We are extremely pleased to support an organization that is dedicated to the improvement and revitalization of Clearfield.”

The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. For more information, please contact Kellie Truman, Main Street Manager at 765-6000.
