Fugitive of the Week: Edward Creek

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of March 14, 2011. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Edward Creek, age 43, of Trolley Street, Winburne.

Shaw stated that Creek is wanted for failure to appear at pretrial conferences on Oct. 8, 2009.

On Dec. 13, 2007, Officer Randall Young of the DuBois City Police Department, filed a criminal complaint charging Creek with: 1) driving under the influence, M; 2) driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, S; and 3) careless driving, S.

An affidavit of probable cause filed by Young states that on July 25, 2007, while on routine patrol, officers observed a vehicle traveling with an expired registration. The vehicle was further observed driving erratically and also driving in the opposite side of the roadway. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, Young detected signs of impairment and requested that Creek perform field sobriety tests. After administering the field sobriety tests, Creek was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for blood testing.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 19, 2008, at which time all charges were held for Court. On Oct. 8, 2009, Creek failed to appear for pretrial conferences and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Height: 5 feet, 5 inches

Eyes: Brown

Hair: Brown
