Lane Restrictions Effective Starting Monday for I-80, I-99

Soil Boring Work in Clinton, Centre and Clearfield Counties Require Lane Restrictions

CLEARFIELD –Motorists will encounter lane restrictions on both Interstate 80 and Interstate 99, beginning Monday in Clinton, Centre and Clearfield counties.

The lane restrictions are necessary as crews work on soil borings. Motorists will encounter daytime, right (travel) lane closures as follows:

– Feb. 21-23: I-80 westbound; Clinton County; mile-marker 194 -195.5

– Feb. 21-23: I-80 eastbound; Clinton County; mile-maker 189.8-190.5

– Feb. 21-23: I-80 westbound; Clinton County; mile-maker 190.2-190

– Feb. 21-23: I-99 northbound; Centre County; mile-marker 82.5 –83

– Feb. 21-23: I-99 southbound; Centre County; mile-marker 83.5-84

– Feb. 21-23: I-80 eastbound; Centre County; mile-marker 169.9-170

– Feb. 22-25: I-80 westbound; Clinton County; mile-marker 175.2-175.1

– Feb. 23-25: I-80 eastbound; Clinton County; mile-marker 175-175.1

– Feb. 23-25: I-80 westbound; Clinton County; mile-marker 184.7-184.8

– Feb. 28-March 1: I-80 eastbound; Centre County; mile-marker 145.4-145.5

– Feb. 28-March 1: I-80 westbound; Centre County; mile-marker 153.9-153.8

– March 1-3: I-80 eastbound; Clearfield County; mile-marker 129.3-129.4

– March 1-3: I-80 westbound; Clearfield County; mile-marker 129.5-127.4

– March 2-4: I-80 westbound; Clearfield County; mile-marker 122.5-122.4

– March 3-4: I-80 westbound; Centre County; mile-marker 166-165.9

Signs will be in place prior to the lane restrictions, alerting drivers to the closed lanes and the potential for slowed traffic through these areas.
