CLEARFIELD – The Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library is currently accepting registrations for its spring story session. In Nursery Time: Story Rhyme, preschool aged children will experience the world of nursery rhymes through stories, songs, and activities.
The 8 week program begins February 7th. Shaw Public Library is offering baby time, toddler time, and story time sessions to all area preschoolers ages 6 months through 5 years of age. Baby time classes are open to children ages 6 months through 2 years of age on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. Toddler time classes, for children ages 2 to 3 years of age, will follow on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:15 a.m. until noon. On Tuesdays, there will be two story time classes, the first from 10:30 until 11: 30 a.m. and the second from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. for all 4 and 5 year olds.
Parents and guardians may contact the library to register for any of the above programs. All children will need an up-to-date photo release form, which is available at the Shaw Public Library’s front desk. A calendar with dates and times for each program is also available at the front desk.
Beginning with the spring story session, a waiting list will be available for anyone who is unable to register for a desired class. Children may be added to the appropriate program throughout the 8 week session depending upon participation in various classes.
