- Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred at 11 p.m. Monday at the Old Philipsburg Hospital in Rush Township, Centre County. A person(s) reportedly threw eggs at a trailer and car that were owned by an employee of Gittings Security before fleeing the scene. - Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday at a Halfmoon Valley Road residence in Halfmoon Township, Centre County. A 21-year-old State College woman was visiting family and reportedly removed approximately $380 from a 37-year-old Bellefonte woman and a 39-year-old Port Matilda woman. The victims later discovered the missing money and reported it to police. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 8 a.m. Dec. 21 and 9 p.m. Monday in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A person(s) entered an 11th Street residence and reportedly removed prescription medication and a gift card before fleeing the scene.
- Police reported institutional vandalism that occurred sometime between Dec. 1 and Dec. 18 in the Port Matilda Cemetery in Port Matilda Borough, Centre County. A person(s) arrived at the cemetery and reportedly damaged and knocked over approximately 11 tombstones. The person(s) then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370.
