PSU DuBois Basketball Beats Scranton 78-65

The Penn State DuBois men’s basketball team won a conference home game Friday night to bring their record to 4-5 overall (2-2 PSUAC). 

After a slow start, PSUDuBois’ pressure defense forced several turnovers that allowed them to build a nine point halftime lead. 

DuBois continued to build their lead over Scranton in the second half, leading by as many as 20 points.  PSU DuBois then coasted to the 78-65 victory. 

DuBois was lead by four players in double figures.  Jovan Brown lead all scorers with 19 points, Josh Salter contributed 17 points, and Chris Dickison and Woody Mitchell chipped in with 14 and 13 points respectively.
 
Penn State DuBois returns to action next Saturday when they face Jamestown Community College for their final home game of the first semester.  The game tips-off at 3:00pm.
