The Last Word

Jay: “Nothing like the ARMY-NAVY game in college. First time in a while both teams are half decent, but Navy’s still better. The pros are nothing but a crap shoot right now…hopefully I picked more right than the other guys.”

Chris:  “Although he looks more like a hockey player these days, Big Ben will lead the Steelers to their 10th win of the season. The upset special this week is the Cowboys over the Eagles. Dallas is playing much better under interim coach Jason Garrett.”

Rusty: “Navy should continue to dominate over Army.  It looks like most of the road teams rule this week in the NFL – Nine road wins on my picks. There are some tough games, and the season so far has been a little unpredictable – so, yeah, yeah, no home field advantage this week.  (Was that convincing to anybody else?)”

Dustin: “I wish I knew the status of Brett Favre and his shoulder, but the interesting thing is they played spectacular with Jackson in at quarterback.  The Colts need to win outright if they wanna win the division. Those are really the only intriguing games this week for me.  Steelers got this one covered, since at least in the words of T.O., the Bengals are terrible.”

Dave: “Both the Steelers and Ravens are involved in classic trap games, and if the Bengals weren’t in such disarray I’d pick them to win – but I think the Steelers will eke out a close win. I’ll begin to take the Bears seriously if they stay within 10 points of the Pats.”
