The Last Word

Jay: “Real wishy-washy on some of the picks this week. I wouldn’t be that shocked if one or both of the local teams kept their great seasons going. Also don’t count out Steve ‘Superior’ in the SEC title game.”

Chris: “The Cinderella seasons will come to an end for the Bisons and Golden Tide, but they have plenty to be proud of. If Big Ben plays, then the Steelers have a good chance of knocking off the Ratbirds. If he doesn’t go, you can give the AFC North crown to Baltimore. I’m guessing he plays and the Steelers win a squeaker.”

Dustin: ” After getting yet another fine, I’m interested to see how James Harrison reacts this week against the Ravens. For one thing, this is always a physical game between these two, but obviously he’s over $100,000 in the hole. If he gets another fine in one of the biggest games of the Steelers’ season, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him walk away because the front office is trying to regulate how to play the game.”

Rusty: ” I have to confess, I did go with my heart a little this week, but that’s not always a bad thing (go Tide). Good luck Bisons and prove everybody wrong. It’s hard to pick the Steelers (but I did anyway) because they seem to have targets on their backs for unwarranted yellow hankies. Maybe the refs will keep them in their pockets for the two hardest hitting teams in football – doubt it.”

Dave: ” Clearfield has had a great run and the team has established themselves as the best in school history – unfortunately, the #1 team in the state will be a bit too much for them to handle (although I expect them to keep it within two scores). “
