The Last Word:

Jay: “The (AML) south will rise again as Curwensville and Brockway advance. Central has been on a roll since a close loss to Tyrone – I think they’ll turn the tables (or get destroyed!). I’m in a slump, so fade me in college and pros.”

Chris: “Good news for Penn State and Steeler fans: Both teams will bounce back this week after disappointing losses. Locally, look for both Clearfield and Curwensville to extend their seasons.”

Rusty: “With 4 road teams picked to win, I’m a little nervous about this week.  One home team that will dominate is Iowa over OSU.  I hate to see it happen, but Brett should really step aside in Minnesota -thank you, but it’s time Brett.”

Dustin: “Pittsburgh really needs to keep on their heels, the Raiders have been surprising at times.  And, they beat them in Heinz Field last year, so that is fresh on their minds.  At the same time, they are working with a new kicker as Jeff Reed has been cut and Shaun Suisham has been signed. Let’s hope it doesn’t come down to that.”

Dave: “ I hope I’m wrong, but I have a feeling that Johnstown will be able to move the ball on the Bisons Friday night. Should be an excellent game! Steelers cannot afford to overlook a scrappy Raiders team – if they blow this one, the playoffs are suddenly in serious doubt.”
