BELLEFONTE — After running the table and claiming the Allegheny Division Title, the Clearfield Bisons rightfully claimed the most all-stars when the league announced its all-star teams Tuesday.
Clearfield had 12 of the 27 first team all-stars, with three players claiming first team status on offense and defense.
Leading the way for the Bisons were seniors Andrew Redden and Derek Morgan and junior Beau Swales.
Redden was named first team tight end and defensive end. Morgan was first team running back and defensive back; while Swales was named first team running back and linebacker.
Also claiming multiple spots on the team were senior Derek Danver, who made first team wide receiver and second team punter; senior Cliff Hill, who made first team defensive lineman and second team offensive tackle; and senior David Hoover, who made first team defensive lineman and second team offensive guard.
Other first team selections from Clearfield were junior quarterback Curtis Frye, senior linebacker Brandon Hogue, and junior center Corey Knepp.
