Dear Friends and Supporters,
Thank you so much for your support over these first two years that you have allowed me to serve in your seat as the Pennsylvania 5th Congressional District Member of Congress. On Election Day we earned a significant win in all 17 Counties with a more than 40 point margin. I know that this victory and all of the races won by republican candidates on November 2nd belongs to you and the American people. You are among those Americans that stood up, spoke out and carried the day in determining the future leadership of our Commonwealth and Country.
Tuesday was a big day in the Thompson household. We began with a call from overseas from our son Logan to let us know he was just promoted to Sergeant. The day finished with earning the trust and confidence of the citizens of this Congressional District to serve them for two more years. Thank you for the privilege and honor of continuing to work for you! I look forward to continuing to serve the vision of America remaining the safest, prosperous and most free nation in the world.
On Tuesday we took the majority in Congress. Now we have the responsibility for governing. We know what the problems are and what the solution must be. We must stop the spending, borrowing and taxing that is crushing jobs in America. We must end the uncertainty driven by higher taxes, expensive regulations and government mandates that keep our small businesses from thriving and creating jobs. We must restore fiscal sanity and eliminate the national debt we are passing along to our children.
