CCAAA Offering Watercolor Class

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Center for Active Living is again offering watercolor instruction class with Dottie Evans.  The focus of the class will be the creation of a Christmas painting and Christmas card.  Ms. Evans and her assistant, Gloria Rowles, will conduct the class on Wednesday, November 10, for area residents aged 50 and older.             

Reservations are required for the class which will run from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. breaking at noon for lunch.  Registrations for the class will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  The charge for a first-time class is $25 which covers the cost of paints, brushes, paper, painting board, and sponge.  The cost to repeating students is $20.  A few items that can be found around the home will be needed for the class.

Lunch is available at the Center.  Those individuals 60 years of age and older may choose to make a donation for the meal, while the cost to those under 60 is $3.  Lunch reservations can be made by calling the Clearfield Center for Active Living at 765-9319 or 1-800-225-8571 or stopping by the Center from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. weekdays at the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging building at 103 North Front Street, Clearfield.
