- On Wednesday, a Hetrick Road resident reported that someone attempted to break into his resident through the basement. The person(s) were unable to gain access to the residence, but the basement door had been kicked in. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- On Wednesday, officers were called to the Wal-Mart parking lot for a puppy that had been left in a vehicle. Upon an investigation of the owner, officers found she didn’t have insurance for the vehicle, and two warrants out for her arrest. The 36-year-old Brockway woman was subsequently taken into custody. The puppy was released to her boyfriend.
- A 41-year-old Brockway man struck a deer while driving on Rich Highway on Wednesday. Moderate damage was reported to his vehicle. No injuries were reported in the mishap.
- A Beers Road resident reported that a stray black lab was at her residence. Officers took custody of the dog.
- On Thursday, a 42-year-old Stockbridge, MI man fell asleep while driving on Bay Road in Treasure Lake. His vehicle traveled through a guiderail and came to a rest in the ditch as a result. No injuries were reported.
- A Kennedy Lane man reported that a male who was in his late 20’s was stealing wire near the railroad tracks. When the man was approached, he left the scene.
- Police reported a false alarm at Priority First Federal Credit Union on Thursday.
