UNION TOWNSHIP – A traffic stop yesterday morning on Interstate 80 yielded a large amount of cash and a small amount of marijuana.
According to the state police in DuBois, a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. After consent was received, as search was conducted. A small amount of suspected marijuana and paraphernalia were found in a Columbus, OH woman and $3,000 was seized from the two men; one from Youngstown, OH and one from Bronx, NY. According to police the money was located in the men’s shoes.
Charges will be filed at a later date against the woman.
