The Last Word

Siegel: “Oklahoma won’t be the third #1 in a row to lose. PSU needs one badly – luckily they’re playing the Gophers!”

Morelli: “I’m putting the Nittany Lions on upset alert. Despite what JoePa says, this is a must win.”

Parks: I’m focusing on Penn State this week.  Even with the firing of their coach, Minnesota is still a tough task.  They need to respond following a tough road loss at Iowa and a homecoming beatdown from Illinois.

McCracken: “Nothing more can be said about ECC-Curwensville – so evenly matched, the boys and Bum will have to decide things on the field.  Missouri hasn’t played a ranked opponent yet, and I don’t see a new #1 crowned for the third week in a row.  Iowa’s defense will have the Buckeyes double checking the schedule to say, ‘Yikes’!”

Glass: “At 16-20 the smart bet is to ignore what I say until I get above .500. Having said that, I think Miami will be a tough test for Ben and the Steelers, and Clearfield learned their lesson a week ago and will not overlook Juniata.”
