GANT Gridiron Challenge Week Three

Week Two was a bloodbath for all of us, thanks to PSU, the Rams, and the Golden Tide. Rusty was the only person over .500 and it was enough to take the lead. Dave’s amazingly bad picks remind us all that these picks are for entertainment purposes only.

The Last Word:

Rusty: “The best thing to happen to Brockway was an injury to their QB – they realized that they have a pretty good running game.  Buganza’s thumb should be getting better, and the complete package will be too much for ECC.  And wouldn’t it be nice if the Patriots woke up this weekend, but there seems to be trouble in New England that is still being ironed out.”

Dustin:  “This week is all about getting back on the saddle.  Everyone is going to be talking about Roethlisberger’s return, but at the same time you have the Vikes and Boys trying to get a win, while the Pats have their first game without Randy Moss.  Should be interesting.”

Jay: “Maybe taking the visitors in 10 out of 12 games isn’t a good idea, but after last week’s performance I couldn’t do much worse!”

Chris:  “Rejoice, Steeler Nation! Big Ben is back. I expect the two-time Super Bowl champ to come out on fire against the Brownies.”

Dave: “Upset alert in Elk County – can Brockway avoid a letdown? The loser of the Vikes-Cowboys game will miss the playoffs, and Pitt and Penn State might both finish with 6 or 7 wins.”
