CURWENSVILLE – After allowing a touchdown on the game’s final play last week to ruin their shutout bid, the Curwensville Golden Tide went out and got their “whitewashing” this week against an outmanned Otto-Eldred (0-4) squad 55-0.
Led by Alex Holland’s 174 rushing yards, the Golden Tide outgained the Terrors 479 to 65.
The Tide scored early and often, as the score was 22-0 at the end of the first quarter and 42-0 by halftime – invoking the 35-point Mercy Rule for the entire second half.
After playing at Riverside Stadium three out of the first four weeks, the Tide (4-0) will hit the road next Friday and make the long trek to Kane (2-2) to play the Wolves.
