DUBOIS – Three DuBois pitchers combined on a two-hitter and shut out Clearfield 7-0 in fall baseball action at Showers Field Thursday afternoon.
John Georgino notched the win, working the middle five innings and holding Clearfield hitless while striking out seven.
Starter Evan Bush and closer Nate Liddle pitched two innings apiece.
Kurtis Krise and Matt Josephson had the hits for Clearfield (8-2).
Jarrett Fulmer took the loss. He struck out seven in six innings.
The two teams will meet in another nine-inning game Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field.
Clearfield also will host Moshannon Valley in a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday.
