Lady Tide Volleyball Goes to 5-1 on Season

CURWENSVILLE — The Lady Tide volleyball team swept DuBois Central Catholic Tuesday evening by the scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-17.  

Lady Tide stat leaders were Rachel Michaels with 11 kills and 3 blocks, Taylor Thornhill with 16 service points with 4 aces, 10 kills, and 1 block, Audrey Thomas had 9 service points with 4 aces and 13 assists, Madison Peterman had 8 service points with 6 aces and 12 assists, Savannah Strickland had 3 kills and 13 digs, Ricki Wells 6 service points and 17 digs, while Hannah Bressler, our libero, had 18 digs.

Head coach Sany Bailor praised her squad’s effort, “I was very pleased with our play tonight, we cleaned up the serving aspect of the game.  Our setters Audrey and Madison did a great job tonight getting the sets to Rachel and Taylor along with Savannah. The passing of Savannah, Ricki and Hannah was the key to the success of our offense tonight – this was a solid team performance tonight.

The junior varsity won 2-0  by the scores 25-11 and 25-21.  They are now 3-3 on the season.

The Lady Tide will be hosting the Lady Rovers of Brockway on Monday September 27 in their next match.
