– Police reported a single-vehicle accident at 6:40 a.m. Sunday on state Route 350 at Boot Trail in Taylor Township, Centre County. Danielle Hays, 26, of Philipsburg was traveling south, when she lost control of her Ford Probe, traveling off the west berm onto a grass embankment. Her vehicle struck a shrub and overturned, sliding on its roof approximately 100 feet along the highway and berm. Hays was transported by AMED Paramedics to the Altoona Hospital with a head injury. She was reported to have been experiencing “concussion-like” symptoms. It wasn’t known if she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. Police were assisted at the scene by AMED Paramedics and the Bald Eagle Volunteer Fire Company.
