– Police reported an incident of drug paraphernalia at 12:13 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 80 at mile marker 129 in Graham Township, Clearfield County. A 39-year-old Philadelphia woman was stopped for an expired registration. When police approached the vehicle, the woman made furtive movements was removed from the same. She was reportedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia. She will be sited for drug violations and three other traffic offenses.
– Police reported a single-vehicle accident at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday on state Route 969 in Pike Township, Clearfield County. A 23-year-old Mahaffey man was traveling south, when he steered to avoid impacting a deer on the roadway. He traveled onto the west shoulder and subsequently lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle then traveled off the west shoulder and struck a dirt embankment, causing his vehicle to overturn onto its roof. The man will be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
– Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at 2:12 a.m. Friday on state Route 153 in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County. A 30-year-old Clearfield woman was stopped for vehicle code violations. At that time, she was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges are being filed through the district court.
