Police Report: Lawrence Township

– Police were dispatched to Glen Richey for a missing 5-year-old who was reportedly riding his bike. After a brief search, officers said the boy was found. Officers were assisted by the Glen Richey Fire Company, the Clearfield Borough Police Department and neighbors of the family.

– Police were called to a local nursing home for a theft of medication incident. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

– Police received a report of theft from a local car wash. The incident is still under investigation.

– Police received a report of telephone scam. An unknown individual reportedly attempted to obtain credit card information from an area resident.

– Police received a report about someone who was trespassing in the warehouse of the former True Value hardware store. Officers were unable to locate anyone.

– Police responded to a report of suspicious persons on Flegal Road. Officers said everything was found to be OK.

– Police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

– Police received a report about traffic violations in the area of the Susquehanna Terrace.

– Police received a report about a traffic violation that occurred in the Edgewood Apartment complex. Officers were able to make contact with all involved parties.

– Police received a report about a traffic violation that occurred in the area of Smith Street. Officers were unable to location the vehicle.

– Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident that occurred on United States Route 322. No injuries were reported; a vehicle was towed from the scene.

– Police received a report about harassment between neighbors in the Hyde area.

– Police responded to a disturbance at Club MoJo’s. When police arrived at the scene, they learned that male individuals had allegedly attempted to start a fight. They were then asked to leave the establishment but allegedly refused to do so.

The males fled MoJo’s before police arrived at the scene. However, they were located by police on state Route 879. Two of the three men were allegedly intoxicated and placed into the Clearfield County Jail. Charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct will be filed.

Police were assisted by the Clearfield Borough Police Department and the Clearfield-based State Police.

– Police responded to a car alarm that was sounding in the Hyde area. Officers arrived and determined all to be OK.
