– Police reported an accident that occurred at 9:45 a.m. Friday on Interstate 99 in Worth Township. Ashley Tarry was driving a Chevrolet Malibu northbound on I-99 in the left lane. She swerved to avoid a rock on the roadway and lost control of her vehicle.
Her vehicle went off the left side of the roadway into the grass area and then crossed over both northbound lanes. Her vehicle then struck an embankment on the eastside of the roadway, causing it to overturn numerous times before coming to its final resting position.
Her vehicle came to a final resting position on its roof approximately 40 feet away from the roadway. The driver suffered minor injuries.
– Police reported an accident that occurred at 8:10 a.m. Friday along United States Route 322 in Rush Township. Edwin Livingston was traveling westbound on USR 322. His vehicle crossed the solid yellow line and went into the eastbound lane.
As a result, his vehicle struck the driver’s side mirror of a vehicle driven by Jonathan Vesnesky, which was traveling eastbound. Livingston and Vesnesky were not injured in the mishap.
– Police reported an incident of found property at 7 a.m. Saturday in Philipsburg Borough. A Saturn key fob, key and house key attached to a university lanyard were found at the intersection of South Center Street and East Presqueisle Street.
The individual who found these items brought them to barracks, and they are being held until the owner can claim them. The owner can call police at 814-342-3370 to make arrangements for their return.
– Police reported a second incident of found property 5 p.m. Sunday in Philipsburg Borough. Police are currently in possession of a lost wallet that was found on East Spruce Street. Anyone wishing to claim the property is asked to contact police at 814-342-3370.
