CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield American Legion Post 6 baseball team’s Jefferson County League game at DuBois Monday was rained out and rescheduled as a 6 p.m. home game at the Bison Sports Complex.
The Chiefs (11-8) sit in third place at 9-5, while DuBois has a solid grip on the top spot at 11-0.
Clearfield will go to Punxsutawney (10-5, 10-3 JCL) Thursday for an 8 p.m. start at Kuntz Memorial Field and then return to the Bison Sports Complex Friday for a 6 p.m. contest with Reynoldsville.
Looking ahead, the Chiefs will host the sixth annual Independence Day Invitational Saturday and Sunday at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field.
The Clearfield Babe Ruth League All-Stars, Philipsburg Legion and Bradford Legion are the other teams in the wood bat tournament.
