Entertainer Gene Allen delighted children and their families for Shaw Public Library’s first Family Fun Night of the summer. On June 21, Gene Allen and a few of his puppet friends performed skits, songs, and magic tricks. Ella Kohan, pictured with Gene Allen, assisted with a skit involving an octopus who learns to appreciate library books. The library will host its second Family Fun Night on June 28 with a family game night at 6:30 p.m.
