- No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on US Route 219 in Jefferson County. Rodney B. Rice, 70 of Folkstown, GA, was driving south when the brakes of his 2000 Ford 750 caught on fire. Police were assisted by the Brockway Volunteer Fire Department.
- A two-vehicle accident occurred on US Route 322 after Robert M. Mohney, 55 of Reynoldsville, attempted to pass the Michael S. Hoffstetter, 36 of Brookville. Hofstetter was driving a 2000 Yamaha and slowed to enter a driveway when Mohney attempted to pass him. Hoffstetter turned left and was hit by the 1998 Dodge Ram driven by Mohney. The tuck hit the left front tire of the Yamaha with the right rear tire. The Dodge Ram continued to travel for approximately 150 feet before being pulled to the berm by Hoffstetter. Hoffstetter sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
