Police Report: Clearfield Borough

– On Saturday, police investigated a burglary to a vendor at the Clearfield Riverfront Festival sometime after 10 p.m. the night prior. Someone entered a tent and removed approximately $150 worth of merchandise.

– Police are currently investigating several complaints for criminal mischief to a vehicle that was parked along Clearfield Street on Friday night. Someone used a maker to write obscene language on its bumper.

– At 11:25 a.m. Sunday, police received a complaint of an unwanted person at a South Fourth Street address. The person fled prior to police arrival.

– At 10 a.m. Saturday, police located an unsupervised, 7-year-old boy at the Clearfield Riverfront Festival. He was transported home as a result. Officers were assisted by Clearfield County Children, Youth and Family Services.

– Police responded to the Riverfront Festival for juveniles who were using obscene language.

– Police responded to a reported kidnapping at the Riverfront Festival. Officers found the child behind a vendor’s tent.
