CLEARFIELD – Because the State College Area High School baseball team is headed to the PIAA Class AAAA Playoffs, Saturday’s non-league American Legion game for Clearfield was cancelled, manager Sid Lansberry announced.
The Post 6 Chiefs, 3-0 overall, will put their 2-0 Jefferson County League record on the line Monday at DuBois in a 6 p.m. makeup game.
Clearfield will travel to Punxsutawney Tuesday if Punxsy does not survive the first round of the PIAA Class AAA Playoffs Monday.
What will be the Chiefs’ first home game now is set for Thursday when Reynoldsville visits the Bison Sports Complex.
