CLEARFIELD – On Thursday a member of Clearfield Borough Council called out the chief of police on one officer’s work last month.

Council member Jim Kling expressed dismay over how the unnamed officer was outperformed by the animal control officer. Kling said the officer had zero arrests and zero traffic incidents. He compared that to another officer whom he said had 10 arrests.

“I just don’t understand how the officer can get through the month and have no arrests,” said Kling.

Police Chief Jeff Rhone said the officer has created some issues that he and Mayor Jim Schell will work on.
