- An Osceola Mills woman was charged with writing bad checks after she wrote a check for $43 to Bailor Disposal without having sufficient funds to cover it.
- On May 16 police observed a Port Matilda man committing various traffic violations. After initiating a traffic stop they determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for DUI, Roadways Laned for Traffic, Careless Driving, and Restriction of Alcoholic Beverages. Charges will be filed at District Court 49-3-03.
- Police are investigating an incident of assault that occurred at the American Legion in Port Matilda involving a 39-year old man and a 35-year old man. Police were contacted by the Mount Nittany Hospital for a 39-year old patient who had reported that he had been assaulted while at the American Legion by a 35-year old man. Upon further investigation the 35-year old said he was defending himself against the 39-year old man.
