- Police reported a two-vehicle accident that occurred on State Highway 153 at the intersection with the railroad grade. A 2001 Yamaha YZF250, driven by Stephen Shugars, 19 of Brockport, was traveling east on the old railroad grade when a 1994 Volvo, driven by Dalonte T. Wallace, 19 of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was driving south. Shugars entered the roadway and hit the vehicle driven by Wallace on the passenger side door. After impact the Yamaha became airborne and landed in the middle of the southbound lane facing east. Wallace continued in a south direction and finally came to a rest in the southbound lane. The Yamaha came to a rest against a guiderail along the west side of the road. The Yamaha suffered disabling damage while the Volvo suffered moderate damage. Shugars is pending a charge of emerging from alley, driveway, or building at district court 59-3-02 in Johnsonburg.
- Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between April 22-29 at the north side of Elbon Road in the village of Elbon. William W. Wolff, 68 of Brockport, told police that someone broke the driver’s side window of his 1987 Ford F-250. Anyone with information is asked to call 814-776-6136.
