Police Report: Clearfield PSP

– Police report an incident of driving under the influence at 9:33 p.m. Friday in Clearfield Borough, Clearfield County. A 33-year-old DuBois man was stopped for a registration violation at the Railroad Street Tavern. When troopers spoke with the man, they determined he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and transported to the barracks for a legal breath test. He will be charged with DUI and operating an unregistered vehicle through the district court.

– Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at approximately 11:55 P.M. Saturday in Cooper Township, Clearfield County. A 21-year-old West Decatur man was found under the influence of alcohol during a routine traffic stop along state Route 53. He was transported to the barracks, where he submitted to a breath test. Troopers said the breath test results indicated a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 percent. Charges of DUI and related summary offenses are pending through Magisterial District Judge Michael Rudella’s office.

– Police reported theft of a motor vehicle that occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. April 19 and 7:30 p.m. April 20 in Cooper Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) arrived at a 41-year-old Morrisdale man’s private property and removed a 1983 Honda 200S, 3-wheeler from the driveway. The person(s) then fled the scene with the ATV, which is described as red in color. In addition, the ATV has a dent in the left side of the gas tank; the fender is stitched together in black. – Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at 5:03 p.m. Sunday in Clearfield Borough, Clearfield County. A 48-year-old Clearfield man was stopped for traffic violations along South Second Street. He was found under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest for the same. He was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a blood draw to determine his blood alcohol content. Charges of DUI and related traffic offenses are currently pending blood results.
