Police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between 3 p.m. Monday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in Horton Township, Elk County. A person(s) arrived at the Toby Creek Water Treatment Plant. They reportedly entered the property by forcing open the northeast gate. They then drove through the property and attempted to exit by driving through the northwest gate.
Police indicated the northwest gate is constructed of heavier pipe and didn’t break open, however. They said the front gate was bent in the center by the vehicle. They said the vehicle could be a car or smaller truck and possibly blue in color with some damage to the front. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway State Police at 814-776-6136.
