– Police reported theft by unlawful taking or disposition at approximately 3:10 a.m. Tuesday in Osceola Mills Borough, Clearfield County. An 18-year-old Philipsburg male and a 19-year-old Houtzdale male arrived at private property along Coal Street. They allegedly entered the same and began to remove large bags of aluminum cans. At this time, troopers said the victim noticed the two males and attempted to confront them. The males dropped the bags of cans, fleeing the area on foot. They left their vehicle behind, according to police. They were later apprehended along state Route 53. Charges of theft and criminal trespass will be filed.
– Police reported an incident of harassment/assault at approximately 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A 26-year-old Osceola Mills woman engaged in a verbal confrontation. Troopers said the argument turned physical, when she grabbed the man by the throat and also kicked him. Summary assault/harassment charges will be filed.
