LTE: A Letter of Thanks

The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation thanks Grice Gun Shop, Bob’s Army and Navy, Jim’s Sports Center and Zalno’s Jewelers for supporting the CRC volunteers during the “march madness” event. These stores were very friendly and welcoming to our volunteers as they were surveying customers upon exiting the stores. The CRC’s goal was to capture the zip code, male vs. female ratio, if they were shopping alone, with family or friends, and what customers would like to see in our town in the future. By capturing this data, the CRC will be able to plan for the following years in how to make this a “weekend” event for the “town”, instead of just a “few stores” for a “few hours” type of event.  Thank you again for help making this experience valuable and fun for the CRC Volunteers and your community.

Thank you to the following CRC volunteers for donating a few hours of your time to help data collect: Bob Rishel, Kim Durant, Rob Bozovich, Trish Kavelak, Debi Truman, Marianne and Caroline Herres, and Leslie and Taylor Stott.

The CRC would also like to commend local businesses who capitalized on this event by cleaning their sidewalks, opening their doors, putting their flags, sandwich boards and signs out, adjusting hours, booking entertainment, etc. Because of your participation, you helped in a big way to take a step forward to keep customers happy throughout the weekend, as the weather was beautiful and many people were walking around downtown.

By having everyone in the town work together towards this direction, overtime, Clearfield should see customers stay in the town longer, thus investing more time and money into our local economy, making it a success for everyone. The happier the folks are who visit, the more often they will return.

Thank you all for believing in your community.
