PSU DuBois Men’s Basketball Loses in PSUAC Playoffs

Monday night Penn State DuBois lost in the semi-finals of the PSUAC playoffs at
Penn State Beaver.  DuBois beat Beaver on Feb. 13 by a score of 73-68, but
Beaver got revenge with an 89-80 victory.  The game was back and forth
throughout with DuBois holding a 41-37 lead at halftime.  Beaver was able to
use a strong second half and monster game by Zach Fetchin to pull away in the
closing minutes.  Fetchin ended the game with 40 points and 8 rebounds for
Beaver.  Marcus Genevro lead DuBois with 25 points.  Justin Alvarez chipped in
with 17 points and 7 rebounds, and Chris Dickison also contributed 17 points. 
 
Penn State DuBois is 21-6 on the season, and they will return to action next
week at the USCAA Division II National Tourment located at Penn State Fayette
(Uniontown, PA).  The tournament will be held March 3rd – 6th.  Tournament
seedings and brackets will be released on Wednesday, February 24th.
