PSU DuBois Men’s Basketball Ends Regular Season at 20-5

The Penn State DuBois men’s basketball team closed out their regular season
with 2 impressive road wins.  On Monday night, the Lions traveled to Penn State
Fayette for a PSUAC West Division clash.  DuBois jumped out to a 49-28 halftime
lead and never looked back as they cruised to a 99-67 victory.  Chris Dickison
lead the Lions with 26 points and 11 rebounds.  Josh Salter pitched in with 18
points, and Woody Mitchell (12 pts), Justin Alvarez (12 pts), and Marcus
Genevro (11 pts) rounded out the double figure scorers.  Will Welles also had a
strong performance with 9 points and 9 rebounds.
 
Penn State DuBois played again on Tuesday night against the PSUAC’s 3rd place
team, Greater Allegheny.  Hot shooting and solid defense lead to a convincing
101-58 victory.  Marcus Genevro paced the Lions with 36 points.  Chris
Dickison, Josh Salter, and Justin Alvarez rounded out the double figure scorers
with 18, 12, and 11 respectively.
 
Penn State DuBois returns to action on Saturday as they host a first round
playoff game.  Time and opponent TBD.
