FLINTON — In their first game back from a long Christmas break, the Curwensville boys basketball team looked to even the score with the Glendale Vikings, who beat the Tide by one point earlier in the season.
Unfortunately, it would not be that kind of night as Glendale (3-4) overpowered the Tide en route to a 56-47 victory.
Tyler Jenny led the Knights with 22 points while Brad O\’Donnell added another 18 of his own.
After leading by four in the first quarter, Glendale began pouring on the pressure and it caused the Tide to fall behind heading into halftime, a gap which they couldn\’t overcome.
Ben Johnson led the Tide in scoring with 15 points while center Kyle Barrett added another 12.
Curwensville (2-5) will look to get back on the winning track as they travel to Harmony Tuesday night.
