CLEARFIELD – With repairs complete, PennDOT has removed weight limit restrictions on the Laurel Run Bridge on state Route 2034 in the village of Wallaceton, Clearfield County. PennDOT had previously posted the bridge for a 14-ton weight limit for single vehicles and a 26-ton weight limit for combination vehicles. The Laurel Run Bridge spans Laurel Run in Wallaceton Borough and carries an average of 352 vehicles per day.
PennDOT has also repaired the Muddy Run Bridge on SR 2002 in Bigler Township, Clearfield County. The bridge is now posted for “one truck at a time”. The most recent posting had been for a 3-ton weight limit. The Muddy Run Bridge is located on SR 2002 near the village of Smoke Run and carries an average of 712 vehicles per day.
