WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – State police in DuBois are investigating a report of animal cruelty.
According to police the incident occurred on Feb. 27. Digger, a Jack Russell terrier mix, was property secured on its owner’s property along Bigrun Prescotville Road. Police said that someone deliberately shot the dog through the hind legs with a small caliber projectile.
Due to the injury Digger required medical attention.
