For the second straight game the Bisons used a late first quarter run to pull away from their opponent as Clearfield cruised to a 86-56 victory over visiting Punxsutawney. Things were tight for the first five minutes of the game with the score knotted at 11, until back to back baskets by Trey Campman (13 points) and two more baskets by Herrington. Clearfield’s 9-0 run to close out the first put them up 20-11 at the end of the period.

Clearfield caught fire in the second quarter putting up 29 points with seven players scoring points in the period. Shiner scored 8 of his 14 points in the quarter while Jeremy Priester provided a spark off the bench chipping in with four of his eight points in the quarter. The Bisons third quarter turned out to be their most sluggish of the night as they were outscored 18-13 in the frame, but still maintained a large lead. At the end of the third the Bisons hung on to a 62-37 lead.

In the fourth quarter the Bisons exploded once again as they put up 24 points with nine different Bisons getting involved in the scoring party. Jarrin Campman, Trey Campman, Chad Zurat , and Zack Fannin all hit shots from behind the arc in the quarter. When the final buzzer sounded the Bisons found themselves sitting at 18-1 after an 86-56 victory.
