PHILIPSBURG – On Sunday, Philipsburg-based State Police initiated an investigation into a structure fire that caused more than $100,000 worth of damage to a coin operated laundry in Philipsburg. Police ruled the fire accidental.
According to the report, police conducted an origin and cause investigation. Police determined the fire originated in a clothes dryer, which was near the front door.
The laundry facility is located on 618 Ninth Street, Philipsburg and owned by George Kohute, 71 of Ramey.
