The Curwensville soccer teams won one and lost one as the District 9 playoffs began this week.
The #3 seed Lady Tide advanced to the AA semi-finals with a 5-1 thrashing of the #6 seed Forest High School. There the Lady Tide (13-5) will face off with the #2 seed Brookville Lady Raiders at a site and time to be determined. Brookville bested the Lady Tide 6-0 back on 10/04.
The #11 seeded boys squad didn\’t fare as well, losing to the number #6 seed Smethport 6-3. Their seson is complete now with a final record of 5-13.
