Bison Offense in High Gear in 56-28 Win Over Penns Valley

Clearfield—For the second straight game Clearfield scored on their first possession and did it in under a minute.  The Bisons high powered offense was on display early as they were able to score 49 in the first half and come away with a  56-28 victory over MAC opponent Penns Valley.

\”When you jump on them for 14 points right away, it definitely sets the tone for the game,\” Clearfield head coach Tim Janocko said. \”I thought our offense played real well on all aspects. We threw the ball well, we gave our quarterback time to throw, and Jarrin and Isiah (Morgan) ran the ball well. We have a lot of weapons, and when we\’re able to hit on all cylinders, we can put some points on the board,\” said Clearfield Head Coach Tim Janocko of his squad.

The Bisons got things going early as Jarrin Campman called his own number and outran the entire Rams defense for a 41 yard score just under a minute into the game.  Not to be out done, Jarrin’s younger brother Trey Campman forced a fumble on the ensuing kickoff setting up another Jarrin Campman 2 yard plunge into the endzone.

On the following Bison possession, Trey Campman came in motion, took the handoff from his brother and dove for the pile for a 9 yard touchdown.

Clearfield continued to run away with the game in the second quarter as senior running back Isaiah Morgan scored on runs of 64 and 1 yard.  Jarrin Campman also added two scores through the air in the quarter to Trey and Brandon Sass on throws of 30 and 25 yards.

\”He had a good week of practice, and he really played well again tonight,\” Janocko said of Campman. \”When he makes plays, we\’re real dangerous. And Isiah\’s running well and the offensive line is doing the job, so we can put points on the board,\” said Janocko of Jarrin Campman and Isaiah Morgan.

The Bisons put things out of reach on their first drive of the second half with Morgan scoring from 3 yards out.  The final score paved the way for the Clearfield Jayvees to enter the game and wind things down.
