Pleasant won the Jeff Dick Home Sales Street Stock feature and Cory Kilgore of Kittanning won his first ever Brush Valley Tire Pure Stock Feature on Townsend Gas and Oil trophy night Friday night Friday at Dog Hollow Speedway.

Repeat winners include: Mike Pegher of Wexford in the Stoystown Auto Wreckers Fastratk Late models and Brennan McCracken of Cherry Tree in the Texas Auto Ranch Four Cylinders.

The late model feature started with Shawn McGarvey and Clate Copeman on the front row with Copeman taking the lead and never receiving a serious threat as he led wire-to-wire with second changing hands often with Randy Kimmel in second initially, but he spun and collected Rick Strong. Then Randy Smithley took second and was riding there until Ben Satterlee came from 16th to second with four laps left. As the race drew to a finishe Satterlee was reeling in Copeman but ran out of time. At the line the top five were: Copeman, Satterlee, Smithley, Rance Garlock and Billy Eash. Heat wins to Clate Copeman and Rick Strong.

In the Fastrak late models with young guns Mike Pegher and Justin Kann on the front row. Pegher led the race from green to checkered. Kann was second initially, then Gary Stahl was second for a while, before Tommy Snyder moved into the runner up spot. Snyder then reeled in Pegher and challenged the Wexford driver the final nine laps, but then as the checkered got even closer to the end it was a three car battle with Bobby Powell moving into the third spot and helped tighten the field, but when the checkered waved it was Pegher getting his second win of the season over Snyder, Powell, Stahl and Roger Laughlin. Bobby Powell, Gary Stahl and Jeff Enos won the preliminaries.

The street stock feature was led to the start with Mike Laughard and Denny Keener on the front row with Laughard taking the lead and Keener in second. On the fourth lap Adam Fulton took second and one lap later it was Jim Boyer in second with Joe Kelley in third. The top three were jockeying for position when Fulton came back to join the fight. The top four were nose-to-tail and side-by-side as Boyer tried the outside line on Laughard, but he bobble and Kelley took advantage of the bobble and passed both Boyer and Laughard for the lead and Boyer moved to second and tried to reel in Kelley but he simply could not get to the leader. At the line it was Kelley getting his first win of the season at Dog Hollow, followed by boyer, Laughard, Fulton and Bill Sigafoes. Heat wins went to Jim Boyer and Mike Laughard.

The front row of the pure stock feature was filled with Cory Kilgore on the inside and Sam McAdams on the outside with Kilgore taking the lead and holding off all the challengers for his first ever pure stock win. Marshall Detwiler challenged first, then it was John Mazey who sat second and tried to get the lead, but then it was Tim Laughard who took second but Kilgore held them all at bay and took the win. The top five were: Kilgore, Laughard, Mazey, Rich Powell and Detwiler. Cory Kilgore and Tim Laughard won the heats.

David Rocker and Joe Petyak brought the four cylinders to the start with Petyak taking the lead and holding off the field with Rocker in second and Brennan McCracken headed to the front from his 12th place starting position. Petyak held off Rocker for eight laps before he lost power exiting the fourth turn. McCracken then went into the lead and held of Rocker for his second straight win. The top five were: McCracken, Rocker, Tom Pavelko, Dan Adams and Mark Maglett. Preliminary wins went to Brennan McCracken, Tom Pavelko and Ryan Clacomb.
